Psalm 62

Psalm 62

Psalm 61:1-2 1 Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the
earth I call to you when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Psalm 63:1 O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for
you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Psalm 62:1 For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my
salvation.

“The poet waited ‘in silence’ on the Lord. We are such activists that it is hard for
us to wait on anything or anyone. We want instant solutions to our problems.
We assume enough money, enough knowledge, or enough effort can solve
anything.”

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said “With man this is impossible,
but with God all things are possible.”

Trust Me.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean in your own
understanding.

Psalm 62:2 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be
greatly shaken.

2 Samuel 22:32 For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our
God?

Isaiah 44:8 Fear not, nor be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared
it? And you are my witnesses! Is there a God besides me? There is no Rock; I
know not any.

Deuteronomy 32:3-4 3 For I will proclaim the name of the Lord; ascribe greatness
to our God! The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of
faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.

Psalm 62:3-4 3 How long will all of you attack a man to batter him, like a leaning
wall, a tottering fence? They only plan to thrust him down from his high
position. They take pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but
inwardly they curse.

Psalm 62:4 They only plan to thrust him down from his high position. They take
pleasure in falsehood. They bless with their mouths, but inwardly they curse.

Psalm 62:5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him.
16)Psalm 62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be
shaken.

Psalm 62:7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge
is God.

Hebrews 12:28 Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot
be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and
awe

Psalm 62:8 Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us.

Biblical hope is a firm conviction that the future promises of God will be fulfilled. Hope is not mere wish projection, but an assurance of what will come to pass.”

Psalm 62:9-10 Those of low estate are but a breath; those of high estate are a
delusion; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than a breath. 10
Put no trust in extortion; set no vain hopes on robbery; if riches increase, set not
your heart on them.

to God

to a man according to his work.

that enters into the inner place behind the curtain
