1. He had no reason to hope (humanly speaking).
2. He has no children at this point (So how can he be the father of many nations?).
3. He considered his own body, which was as good as dead (since he was about 100 years old).
4. He considered the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.

Bring the reality of your circumstances to God.

Romans 4:20-21

You will never lose union with the God of the universe because of what Christ accomplished on the cross!
