Refuge is a recovery process to heal from self-destructive coping behaviors including drugs, alcohol, pornography, anxiety, anger, food, etc.

Refuge recovery group is a safe place for you to find help and hope in Jesus. Refuge recovery groups provide the necessary understanding, as well as the practical tools, for real and permanent change. It is a blend of Biblical principles, understanding of the brain, and proven recovery strategies. In a Refuge recovery group, you will find not only freedom from self-destructive behaviors but also the underlying issues that drive them.

Who are Refuge Recovery Groups For?

Refuge recovery groups are for anyone who feels stuck in unhealthy patterns of relationships and behaviors such as addiction to drugs and alcohol, co-dependency, anger, pornography, anxiety, depression, food, etc.

At Refuge, you will find healing in a community through a process of self-examination, sharing, encouragement, and accountability. We strive to be a safe place where your pain and your struggles are met by Christ’s love and grace.

What Should I Expect in a Refuge Recovery Group?

Refuge groups are highly intensive recovery groups that meet for 17 weeks. Groups are highly confidential, gender-specific groups, and require the participant’s full participation.


At Refuge, you will find the love and support you need to overcome hurtful behaviors.

When do Refuge Recovery Groups Meet?

Refuge groups are held two times throughout the year and run for 17 weeks. The groups meet weekly in the evening. Refuge runs in the Fall and the Spring.
