After growing up in Alabama, Tim moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004 when the United States Air Force transferred him to Nellis AFB. He served with the USAF for 10 years, then left military life for ministry life, joining Grace Point Church staff in 2013 as the Pastor of Discipleship.

Together with his wife Kate, Tim has four grown children.
