Call To Worship
Based on Psalms 119:18, 25:4-5; Romans 12:2
All: Lord God Almighty,
Open our eyes that we may behold wondrous things in Your law.
Open our ears that we may tremble at Your word.
Open our lips that our mouths may declare Your praise.
Guide us in Your truth and teach us.
Fill us with Your Spirit and renew us.
For You are the God of our salvation.
For You we wait all the day long.
You made us in Your image,
With a mind to know You,
A heart to love You,
And a will to serve You.
But our knowledge is imperfect,
Our love is inconstant,
Our obedience incomplete.
Day by day, we fail to grow into Your likeness.
We acknowledge our failure to glorify You
The way You designed us to.
In Your tender love, forgive us
Through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
“And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, He has now reconciled in His body of flesh by His death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before Him.”
“For through Him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
The Lord’s Prayer
“Walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
