What is GP Kids?
GP Kids is a children’s ministry uniquely designed for 1st-5th graders. We have created a safe, fun, Jesus-centered area, and parent-equipping environment.
In our GP Kids gatherings, your kids learn big truths about Jesus, God, and the Bible. 1st – 5th graders gather together for worship with our GP Kids Music team, participate in small learning groups, and experience whole-group Biblical teaching.
What age is GP Kids for?
GP Kids is a children’s ministry uniquely designed for 1st-5th graders.
When is GP Kids?
GP Kids gather during the 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM Sunday Gathering. Check-in begins 15 minutes before the start time and closes 15 minutes after.
Where do GP Kids meet?
In the Family Center Theater.
WHAT WE OFFER EACH WEEK:
SAFETY:
It is vital that both parents and students feel safe when they enter any GP Kids environment. Every adult volunteer is screened through an interview, a federally run background check, and ongoing training.
FUN:
The Bible tells us in Matthew 19:14 that Jesus told his disciples not to inhibit children from coming to him “for to such belongs the kingdom of Heaven.” In Mark 10:16, we read that Jesus carried children in his arms and “blessed them.” Jesus was also accused of being “too joyful” at times (Luke 7:34). Jesus had fun, and in GP Kids, we have fun too!
JESUS-CENTERED:
Everything we do is centered on the person and work of Jesus – just like the Bible! Each element of our GP Kids gatherings intentionally points students to Jesus. Our goal is that by the time a student leaves GP Kids, they know what it means to live for Jesus in every area of their life.
EQUIPPING TO PARENTS:
Since Scripture is clear that parents are given the privilege to rear their children toward a relationship with Jesus, GP Kids does not seek to replace the parent’s primary role in a child’s life. We want to assist parents with that aim.
The Gospel Project curriculum focuses on each environment from birth through 5th grade on the same Jesus-centered lesson. We provide take-home sheets to help parents continue the conversation at home.

We keep adult-to-child ratios for everyone’s safety. We may need to close GP Kids if we hit those ratios. We encourage you to take your children to the Gathering Center with you if you miss check-in or we are at ratio.
